The company has released the fourth version of the BMW 1-series. The new 1-series has more up-to-date technology, a new look, and hints at BMW’s new way of calling gas-powered cars. Sadly, the new 1-series will not be offered in our country, just like the last generation. Americans are always being judged for not being able to give hot cars to European countries. The brand-new fourth-generation BMW 1-series is something we want to drive even if we have to sleep in our freshly made bed. The new 1-series car will have two gasoline engines and two diesel engines. From least to most powerful, the 118d only makes 148 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. When a 48-volt hybrid system is added to the diesel engine, output goes up to 161 horsepower and 295 pound-feet when the 120d is used. The gasoline models have more power than the 120 model, but the 120 model is still weak. With a 48-volt hybrid system and a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, the gearbox is fully automatic and has seven speeds. At its peak, it can make 168 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Style Not Specified The most exciting engine is in the M135 model, which has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid system from the BMW X1 M35i. According to BMW, the small M car takes 4.9 seconds to go from 0 to 62 mph. It has a horsepower rating of 296 and a torque rating of 295 pound-feet. The new 1-series is designed differently than the type that came before it. The new 1-series hatchback looks like a soft-boiled egg that was thrown on the ground because its headlights are more streamlined, and its grille is smaller. The rounded front end blends into the top so well that it looks like an amorphous blob on wheels. The inside of the new 1-series has even bigger changes. The model coming out in 2025 will have two screens and the latest version of BMW’s iDrive 9 entertainment system. The digital gauge cluster is 10.3 inches, but the 10.7-inch middle infotainment screen is bigger. The new way BMW names its 1-series cars is a small change that will only be noticed by die-hard quiz players. BMW is getting rid of the “i” from its gas-powered cars because electric cars are now the majority of the company’s products. The 120i xDrive stays the same and is now called the 120. The M135i xDrive is now just called the M135 xDrive. Starting in October, people all over Europe will be able to buy the new 1-series.
