• Cadillac has set a starting price of $54,390 for the 2025 Optiq.
  • The electric compact SUV will be available in two trim levels: luxury and sport. The Sport trim starts at $54,990 and goes up to more than $57,000.
  • The Cadillac Optiq sits below the Lyriq EV in the company’s lineup. You can claim the entire $7,500 federal tax credit on it.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq, the smaller sibling or sister to the electric Cadillac Lyriq, will soon be available in stores. The battery and dual-motor all-wheel-drive system are identical to those of the Chevy Equinox EV and the forthcoming compact EV SUV. However, the Caddy model, which is more expensive and includes more frills, has more horsepower.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq Ev Suv, Priced At $54,390, Comes With All-Wheel Drive As Standard

Cadillac will offer the Optiq in two separate trim levels: Luxury and Sport. However, the basic equipment for each trim will differ—the Optiq Luxury 1 costs at least $54,390. If you select the Luxury 2 option, the price rises to $56,590. Finally, the Optiq Sport 1 starts at $54,990, while the Optiq Sport 2 starts at $57,090.

Each Optiq is powered by two electric motors that combine to provide 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The power comes from an 85.0 kWh battery with a range of around 300 kilometers. The Optiq’s 400-volt electricity system is supposed to provide a range of up to 79 miles in 10 minutes, and it charges swiftly at a maximum DC rate of 150 kW.

The entire $7500 federal tax credit is currently available for both the larger Lyriq and the Equinox EV, which is roughly the same size. Even though the Optiq is not yet on the EPA’s list of certified electric vehicles, Cadillac has told Car and Driver that when it goes on sale later this year, it will be eligible for the full credit. If you use the credit, the Optiq will start at less than $47,000.
