• Reports indicate that the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds.
  • According to Chevrolet, the 1064-hp ZR1, equipped with the additional ZTK Performance pack, can reach 150 mph in 9.6 seconds.
  • The C8 Z06 with the Z07 package took 10.5 seconds to go the quarter-mile at 131 mph. The quickest Corvette we tested was the hybrid all-wheel-drive E-Ray, achieving 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Not only is the new Corvette ZR1 faster than any other Vette Chevy has ever made, but it also has more speed. The bowtie brand’s acceleration numbers, which came out today, show that the ZR1 can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.3 seconds. In less than 10 seconds, it can go down the drag strip. Chevy says the fastest model went 1,320 feet in 9.6 ticks at 150 mph.

The 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 Is Capable Of Accelerating From 0 To 60 Kilometers Per Hour In A Claimed 2.3 Seconds

The 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1, the fastest model, can be equipped with the optional ZTK Performance package. It features a big rear wing, front dive planes, underbody strakes for more front downforce, a tall Gurney flap that connects to the lip of the hood, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires that are better at grip.

Chevy says that the standard ZR1 can hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds without the ZTK setup and cover the quarter-mile in 9.7 seconds at 152 mph, which is only a tenth slower. The times were taken on a drag strip that wasn’t ready, and the cars were using 93-octane pump gas, the company said.

When we get the new ZR1, we’ll be able to see for ourselves how fast it is with our test gear. The hybrid all-wheel-drive Corvette E-Ray is now the fastest Vette we’ve ever tried. It takes 2.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour. Even though the E-Ray had better grip, the rear-drive-only C8 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 pack we tried had a faster quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds at 131 mph. A 755-hp supercharged V-8 engine mounted up front in the C7-generation Corvette ZR1 and an eight-speed automatic gearbox let it go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and go 135 mph for 10.8 ticks in the quarter-mile.

Chevrolet hasn’t said how much the new Super Vette will cost yet, but we’ve been told that more information will be available closer to the start of production, which should be next year. It wouldn’t surprise us if the base price was around $180,000 and some models cost more than $200,000.
