For 2025, the Chevy Traverse introduces a new High Country trim, featuring a chrome grille and distinctive 22-inch wheels. The High Country has a third row that can be folded down automatically and heated, cooled, and leather-trimmed front seats. Super Cruise, General Motors’ hands-free driving assistance technology, is also standard. It starts at $54,995. The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse mid-size SUV got a whole new look, with a new off-road version called Z71, a blockier shape, and a 328-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine replacing the V-6 engine. Chevy is always making improvements to the Traverse. In 2025, the luxurious High Country model will be offered. We already knew that a Traverse High Country was in the works, but photos posted on Chevy’s website give us our first look at the chrome-filled SUV. The Traverse High Country is back after a one-year break. The C-shaped design around the lower light units and the shiny silver grille trim make it stand out from the blacked-out RS version. Some other changes are 22-inch aluminum wheels with chrome accents, chrome window trim, and a body-color piece that splits the grille from the lower intake. These are the clear taillight covers on the High Country and the RS. The Z71 and LT have red ones. The High Country has leather seats inside, and the front seats for the driver and passengers are heated and cooled. The cabin has only Sky Cool Gray seats and Jet Black upholstery with bronze details. The seats in the third row can be folded down automatically, and the seats on the edges of the second row are also warm. The High Country also simplifies trailer towing with features such as Hitch View, a specific back camera viewpoint that offers a close-up of the trailer hitch, and Hitch Guidance, which Shows a centered guide to assist in aligning the hitch with your trailer. Chevy describes the High Country’s suspension as “upgraded,” but does not explain how it differs from other Traverses. Some of the extra features are a Bose luxury 10-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, and an animation that plays when you get close to or leave the SUV. At The High Country, they also offer several standard packages. The Driver Confidence option adds a 120-volt power outlet, a rear walker alert, and the ability to read traffic signs. The Convenience package adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a remote start. GM’s hands-free driving assistance technology, Super Cruise, and better-automated parking help are all part of the Enhanced Driving option. The base price of the 2025 Traverse High Country is $54,995, which is a bit more than the 2023 High Country model. With prices starting at $56,795, the RS model is the second most expensive car in the Traverse range right now.
