The 2025 Ford Mustang V-8 models' prices have gone up from $2600 to $3645

The V-8 “stangs” cost more

The 2025 Ford Mustang GT coupe is the first car to have a 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 480 horsepower. It now costs $47,000,055, which is $2600 more than it did before. The Premium model’s starting price of $51,575 shows that the price will also go up. At that higher level of equipment, you can also get a convertible with eight cylinders that starts at $57,075. The base price of the Dark Horse with 500 hp goes up by $2645 to $64,875, and the Premium trim costs an extra $69,870. It’s $3,645 more than the year before.

We can now see the 2025 Mustang lineup in the online configurator. This lets us know which choices have lost their prices and which have changed. The new 60th Anniversary option costs $3,995 and can only be added to the GT Premium. Before, it cost an extra $1595 to switch from a base six-speed manual to a 10-speed automatic on a V-8 car. Now, it’s free.

These add-ons cost between $100 and $300 these days. Prices have gone up for a number of GT options. For example, the Bronze Appearance package now costs $1195 instead of $1095, and the active exhaust system option now costs $1595 instead of $1295. A couple more small price changes were left out so that things would be more varied.

As a bonus, fans should know that the 2024 cars no longer have Atlas Blue Metallic or Dark Matter Gray Metallic paint. Molten Magenta, on the other hand, has a shiny tri-coat. Also, the Dark Horse’s interior is no longer indigo blue; it is now black with blue highlights.

It’s over with the Performance Pack

Ford Mustangs with the EcoBoost turbo-four engine still have the same starting price, but they need help getting the $3,475 2.3L High-Performance option. That package has many changes that made the four-cylinder pony car perform better on the tracks. These changes include better summer tires, Brembo brakes, an electric handbrake, a bigger anti-roll bar in the back, and a limited-slip rear differential.

The EcoBoost coupe’s price range begins at $33,515 and goes up to $39,040 for the Premium form. The EcoBoost convertible starts at $41,615, and the Premium starts at $44,540.
