Any other changes to this model are minor. Fuel economy and engine details Every CX-30 has a brand-new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The S grades have a naturally aspirated engine that makes 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. On premium fuel, the Turbo models’ turbochargers can make up to 250 horsepower and 320 pounds-feet of torque. On regular gasoline, the 2.5 Turbo makes 227 horsepower and 310 pounds-feet of torque. The CX-30 has a four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic gearbox. All-wheel drive is standard, and the transmission can be equipped with or without a turbocharger. It costs $36,560 for a Premium 2.5 turbo. $2.50-liter Premium Plus costs $38,370. Levels of trim and safety features Safety features come standard in the 2025 CX-30. These include a monitor for the driver’s attention, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, and a rear-seat reminder. The base 2.5 S model comes with automatic headlights and LED outside lighting. It has metal wheels that are 16 inches in diameter. There are six speakers inside the black fabric cabin, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen with a control knob, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch screen in the gauge cluster, and keyless entry and start. This 2.5 S Select Sport has 18-inch black metal wheels, heated black side mirrors, and wipers that can sense rain. Its interior looks better now that it has black synthetic leather seats and automatic temperature control with two zones and vents under the seats. It also comes with Alexa, which lets you use your words to control the temperature and music system. The 2.5 S Preferred also comes with 18-inch wheels that are finished in silver. The grille is black, but the windows are the same color as the car. The first model in the CX-30 range with a turbocharger is the 2.5 Carbon Turbo. Like the Carbon Edition, it only comes in one color: Zircon Sand. The grille, body trim, mirror housings, and 18-inch wheels are all finished in black. It has black suede accents and terracotta synthetic leather padding. The Carbon Turbo has the same features as the 2.5 S Preferred, but it has eight speakers, a wireless phone charger, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that can be used with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto (both of which have a wireless connection). Like the S Premium, the 2.5 Turbo Premium has a bigger infotainment screen, a heated steering wheel, and de-icers for the window wipers. The Turbo Premium Plus has an automatic rear brake system, a 360-degree parking camera, and parking sensors in the front and back. Cruising and Traffic Support, Mazda’s hands-on driver assistance feature, is also built-in. This feature blends adaptive cruise control and lane-centering steering assistance.
