• The 2025 Nissan Frontier series costs a little more than the 2024 model year because it has a small facelift.
  • The Frontier’s base price has increased from $1540 to $33,560, which is a few thousand more than the 2024 Chevy Colorado WT.
  • The base price for the crew cab Frontier is around $35K. The off-road Pro-4X with 4×4 and the top-of-the-line SL cost $43,280 and $46,620, respectively.

The price of most mid-size pickup cars starts at around $30,000. In 2025, the base price of the new Nissan Frontier goes up by $1540 to $33,560. This makes the bow-tie model more expensive than the 2024 Chevy Colorado, which starts at $31,395, at least until the price of the 2025 model is announced.

The Frontier Costs

The Colorado, GMC Canyon and Ford Ranger don’t have two cab styles or bed lengths, but the Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma do. Nissan only offers the longer “King” cab in the Frontier’s base S and SV trims. The SV starts at $35,900 with rear-wheel drive. For almost all models, adding four-wheel drive costs an extra $3,300, and the base trim needs an extra $3K to get this feature. It costs only a little more than a 2024 Ford Ranger XL SuperCrew, making the $34,960 S the least expensive crew-cab Frontier.

Want to equip a 2025 Frontier with the crew cab and SV trim for additional features? The starting price for this setup, with the standard five-foot bed and rear-wheel drive, is $37,300. Opting for the longer six-foot bed adds $500. For enhanced off-road capabilities, consider the Pro-4X trim, which, like the top-of-the-line SL, is only available with a crew cab. The rear-wheel-drive Pro-4X and SL start at $43,280 and $46,620, respectively, while the four-wheel-drive Pro-4X is also priced at $43,280. In comparison, the Colorado Z71 starts at $42,095, the Ranger XLT FX4 at $42,185, and the Tacoma TRD Off-Road at $43,295.

The 2025 Nissan Frontier comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, as well as driving assistance features like blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. The SL is the most luxurious. Leather upholstery, LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, and a 10-speaker Fender audio system are some of its features. Every Frontier has a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that makes 310 horsepower and is paired with an automatic drive that has nine speeds.
