Torque went up to 546 pound-feet, but horsepower went down to 449. The 2025 model will still have 469 horsepower, but it will have more speed. Up until last year, the Climate, Performance, Plus, and Pilot packages were optional. But starting with the 2025 model year, they are. The Polestar 2’s starting price has gone up by more than $15,000 to $66,200 because of the boxes that had to be checked. Polestar is one of many automakers that have joined Tesla’s network of Superchargers and changed the Polestar 2 series. Drivers can get an NACS converter from their local dealership, but the company said that future Polestar cars will come with a charging port for NACS directly from the maker.
