The 2025 Polestar 3 has a revolutionary single-motor rear-wheel-drive technology that starts at $68,900. The rear-drive electric SUV from Polestar offers an EPA-estimated driving range of 350 miles. The Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor is now available for order, with deliveries set to begin early next year. The Polestar 3 can be bought in the US right now, but only the Long Range Dual Motor models are available. This is different for the Long Range Single Motor form, which has rear-wheel drive instead of all-wheel drive. Thanks to this change to the powertrain, the Polestar 3’s base price goes down, and the expected driving range of the electric SUV goes up. The base price for the new 2025 Polestar 3 Long Range RWD is $68,900. These prices are $6400 less than the base price of the base AWD model, which is $75,300. Both the Launch Edition and the Performance version start at $80,300 and $86,300, which is a lot more money. The new Polestar 3 electric motor has 295 horsepower and 361 pound-feet of torque. The normal dual-motor setup gives you 483 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque, while performance models give you 510 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. One motor and all-wheel-drive Polestar 3s share the same 107.0 kWh battery pack. At its fastest, it can charge at 250 kW, which the company says can boost the battery’s charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. According to the EPA, the rear-drive car can go about 350 miles on a single charge, which is a lot farther. The AWD 3 has an estimated maximum range of 315 miles, while the Performance models have a maximum range of 279 miles. Along with a semi-autonomous drive mode that helps you change lanes, the 2025 Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor comes with a 360-degree video system with 3D vision. People can place orders for the type with rear-wheel drive, and deliveries will start early next year.
