The company that makes the Polestar 4 has released the exact price split for it. The New York Auto Show will be the first place in North America to see it. The base model has one motor and costs $56,300. The top-of-the-line model has two motors and the Plus and Performance packs and costs $74,300. It is said that all of them are “long-range.” Orders for the Polestar 4 will start being taken in late April 2024, and shipping will start near the end of that year. The company has officially released the full price list in preparation for the coming of the Polestar 4 SUV, which will make Polestar’s selection twice as big. The base Long-range single-motor model costs $56,300. It has a rear-drive engine with 253 pound-feet of torque and 272 horsepower. Customers can choose between models with one or two motors. Models with one motor have rear-wheel drive, while models with two motors have all-wheel drive. The starting price goes up to $64,300 when all-wheel drive is chosen. Polestar offers four Packs: Pilot, Pro, Plus, and Performance. Each Pack comes with a different drivetrain choice. The Pilot package costs $1500, and the Pro package costs $2000. The Plus Pack costs an extra $5500. The Performance Pack can only be used with the long-range, dual-motor Polestar 4. When added to the Plus pack, the total price is $74,300. Two motor vehicles come with the Pilot Pack as standard equipment. It adds lane-change assist and pilot aid to the list of driver assistance choices. One set of seatbelts and valve stem caps is unique to the Pro Pack. It also comes with a pair of 21-inch Pro wheels instead of the normal 20-inch wheels. Performance Pack features forged 22-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, performance tires, a gold seatbelt, and valve stem caps. No matter what power level, all Polestar 4 models are called “Long Range” and have a 94.0-kWh battery that can be charged at up to 200 kW DC and 11 kW AC. The EPA says Polestar plans to have a range of more than 300 miles. Polestar 4s with two motors have all-wheel drive and 536 horsepower, while models with only one motor power the back wheels with an electric motor that has 268 horsepower. As of late April 2024, Polestar plans to start taking bookings. Shipments will start coming in the fourth quarter of that year.
