Porsche has said that by the end of the year, there will be two more electric Macan models to choose from. The regular Macan EV with rear-wheel drive starts at $77,295 and can make up to 355 horsepower. The Macan 4S has a top speed of 509 horsepower and costs $86,895. At the beginning of this year, Porsche released an all-electric version of its famous small crossover. It came in only two versions: the powerful 630-hp Macan Turbo and the 402-hp Macan 4. One of Porsche’s new models is the powerful Macan 4S, which sits between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. The other is a new base model with rear-wheel drive. Getting new engines The 95.0-kWh battery that can be used is still in the new entry-level car, but it now powers only one motor on the back axle. Like the Macan 4 with all-wheel drive, this 335-hp back motor is the same one that goes into the car. This function raises the output to 355 horsepower and the torque to 415 pound-feet when the launch control is turned on. Porsche says the base model can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and can go as fast as 136 mph. Because it only drives the back wheels, the Macan EV weighs 243 pounds less than the Macan 4. But the Macan 4S has a new motor in the back that works with the same motor in the front axle that’s in the Macan 4 and Turbo. The 4S has a base power output of 442 horsepower, and a fast boost can raise that to 509 horsepower. Launch control lets you use up to 578 pound-feet of power. Porsche says the 4S can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 149 mph. The 4S and the rear-wheel-drive Macan both come with adaptive air suspension and dampers, which are normal parts of the Porsche Active Suspension Management system. Both can come with rear-wheel steering as an extra, and Porsche’s torque-vectoring technology can be added to the 4S. Unique Designs Porsche also showed some more styling choices that people who buy the Macan EV will be able to choose from when it comes out later this year. Everything now comes in Slate Grey Neo, a new color with all-new 20-inch wheels. Porsche also created a brand-new off-road design package that can be added to any electric Macan. When the normal air suspension setting is used, the package adds four-tenths of an inch to the ground clearance and changes the bumper to improve the approach angle by 17.5 degrees. Vesuvius Grey is the color of the diffuser panels, roof rails, front bumper, and side skirts. It is also the color of the car. You can get a set of gray 21-inch off-road wheels. Both of the new versions can now be bought. Porsche plans to send out its cars in the fourth quarter of this year. The base cost of the 2025 Macan will be $77,295, which is about $3000 less than the Macan 4. The Macan 4S will cost $86,895.
