• With the 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II, the SUV has been changed for the first time since it came out in 2019.
  • The front of this high-end car gets a new V-shaped hood and LED daytime running lights.
  • The Black Badge version of the Cullinan’s V-12 engine still has the same 592 horsepower.

Six years ago, Rolls-Royce released the Cullinan, the British brand’s first SUV, which added to the car’s already obvious grandeur. Rolls-Royce has released the updated Cullinan Series II, which is the favorite family car of the 1%. Even though it still has a V-12 engine, the Cullinan Series II has a sleek new dashboard and a beautiful interior design.

Bright Outside

The famous Pantheon grille is still on the 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, but it is now lit up for the first time. To give the SUV the widest look possible, a new L-shaped LED strip is added to the rectangular headlights and runs the length of the fascia. Rolls-Royce says the bumper has been drastically changed and now has slanted air intakes that make a V shape like the bow of a boat.

A new character line that is a little thinner than the original design curves inward from the taillight to the middle of the wheels. The rear bumper has been completely rebuilt and painted high-gloss black. The exhaust is protected by a plate made of brushed and polished stainless steel, which makes it look better. The Cullinan now comes with 23-inch wheels with seven spokes that are made from metal billets. According to the company, Rolls-Royce has also made a new paint finish called Crystal Over. This is put on Emperador Truffle brown paint and uses a lacquer with glass particles to give “a subtle shimmer reminiscent of fresh snow under morning light.”

Beautiful Cabin

The tablet in the middle of the Cullinan and the digital gauge cluster are housed in a glass panel that goes across the whole dashboard. The new screen stays in place and can always be seen. On the old model, the tablet could have been hidden by an upholstered trim piece. The screen has Rolls’ newest entertainment system, Spirit, which was first used in the electric Spectre.

The Illuminated Fascia panel is in front of the passenger and is part of the dashboard. It has the Cullinan logo on top of a piece of art that looks like a building. Seven thousand dots have been laser-etched onto a piece of black glass at different angles and sizes to make the art look like it’s in three dimensions. Of course, owners can choose their own unique lit fascia design. There is a new clock cabinet to the left of the touchscreen. It has an analog clock and a lit-up stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy figure that looks like an SUV’s hood ornament.

The backseat guests are getting more and more attention. You can connect up to two streaming devices to the back screens, which now have a separate interface for streaming and seat features like heating, cooling, and massage. You can now connect any Bluetooth headphones to the back system, and a Wi-Fi hotspot lets you stream on each screen separately. The Cullinan also has a sound system with 18 speakers.

Duality Twill, a new rayon fabric made from bamboo, and Grey Stained Ash trim are some of the new things that have been added to the house. A design for the SUV was “inspired by the constantly changing shapes and shadows of the clouds” at Rolls-Royce’s offices in Goodwood. The Cullinan also uses holes in the leather to make art in a very creative way. This pattern has 107,000 holes.

The black badge is coming back

Fear not—the Cullinan’s 6.7-liter V-12 twin-turbo engine will still power it easily, and the more powerful Black Badge version is back, with 592 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Both cars have the same “base” numbers, which are 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. The 12-cylinder engine is still paired with all-wheel drive and a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.

As you might expect, the Black Badge type has all-black exterior trim, such as door handles, window surrounds, and the Pantheon grille. Customers who choose the Black Badge can also paint the side sill trim and lower bumper the same color as the body, which is not possible with the regular Cullinan. Most of the extra decorations on the Black Badge have been toned down to match the style on the outside. The carbon fiber trim pieces are still on the inside.

The new Rolls-Royce SUV doesn’t have a price yet, but the 2025 Cullinan is expected to cost more than the $391,750 base price of the 2024 model. People can place orders for the revised Cullinan this summer, and the first ones should arrive by the end of the year.
