• The headlights and taillights of the 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II have been modified.
  • Some of the new things that were found inside the Ghost are Duality Twill, a bamboo rayon fabric, and open-pore Grey Stained Ash.
  • Even though it has two turbochargers, the V-12 engine still makes 563 horsepower.

With the Cullinan and Spectre, Rolls-Royce has moved into the SUV and electric vehicle markets, but the British company still has a lot of love for the big luxury cars that helped build its reputation. The 2025 Ghost Series II from Rolls-Royce is an improved version of the second-generation car that came out in 2021. It has a slightly updated outside, a more high-tech inside, and even more style options that can be chosen and made.

The 2025 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Is Even Fancier Than The First One

On the outside, there are only minor changes. The headlamps are now narrower and curve upward at the bottom, changing the older model’s blunter rectangular shape. The lower bumper is also smaller now, with two pieces that flow into each other and smaller vents. The new headlights are based on those on the Spectre. Two new 22-inch wheels with nine spokes are now available for the Ghost.

The new color that Rolls-Royce uses for the outside of their cars is Mustique Blue (see picture at top). The Caribbean island with the same name is part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It has a shiny feel to it. Rolls-Royce mixed glass and mica flakes to make a sparkling effect that looks like sunlight reflecting off of water. Henry Royce’s car, a prototype 1929 Phantom II Continental, was the same color. Rolls-Royce says the Phantom was one of the first cars to use shimmering paint, so the new color is also a nod to that car.

Rolls-Royce’s newest infotainment system, Spirit, is built into the Ghost. It’s hidden behind a glass panel that runs the length of the dashboard and shows information on a central screen. To better match “time-lapse celestial photography,” the “Illuminated Fascia” on the passenger side has been improved. However, owners can pay extra through the “Bespoke” program to add their unique style element. Bespoke now lets customers choose a color for the digital instrument gauge that matches the color scheme of the outside or inside of their car. A revised “clock cabinet” in the dashboard holds both an analog clock and a stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy ornament that lights up.

As of now, people in the back can connect up to two devices to the Series II’s rear screens and stream material to each one separately. The back screens now have a new user interface for handling things like entertainment systems, massage chairs, and heated and cooled seats. A new 1410-watt amplifier has been added to the 18-speaker sound system, and the Wi-Fi hotspot has been improved. There are now USB-C charging ports on the main machine.

Duality Twill is a new rayon fabric made from bamboo that is part of the Series II. Grey Stained Ash is a new open-pore wood trim that has tiny metallic particles in it to make it look shiny. The second one is carved with a pattern that is meant to look like the names of Rolls-Royce’s founders, which are written as intertwined R symbols. Duality Twill comes in three colors: Lilac, Chocolate, and Black. There are 51 different stitching color options. The Ghost also has an upholstery option called “Placed Perforation.” This option uses 107,000 holes in the seats to make the clouds above Rolls-Royce’s offices at Goodwood look like they are moving.

An eight-speed automatic gearbox sends the 563 horsepower from the 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine to all four wheels. Based on the curve of the turn, a new satellite-aided transmission system uses GPS data to choose which gear to use when coming out of a corner. When you combine this with Rolls-Royce’s Flagbearer technology, which uses cameras to look at the road ahead, you get the best suspension you can imagine.

The longer, longer-wheelbase model will come back in 2025. The price of the next Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is unknown, but it is likely to be several thousand dollars more than the current model’s starting price of $354,750 in 2024.
