The 2026 Honda HR-V is anticipated to undergo slight updates, much like the ones scheduled for the 2026 Honda CR-V. A new 9.0-inch infotainment screen and connected Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are some of the most important changes. The price of the front-wheel-drive LX model is now set at $27,595, while the all-wheel-drive EX-L model is priced at $32,945. This is a small increase from the previous model year. Honda states that the HR-V is the best-selling SUV among Generation Z consumers in the United States. Honda doesn’t agree with that claim, so the company wants to make several changes to the HR-V for the 2026 model year to make it more appealing to younger buyers. But most of the changes aren’t very big. The 2026 car and the 2025 model look almost exactly the same from the outside. There are only a few clues: all three trim levels have new wheels, the Sport models have new black badges on the trunk, and there are two new paint colors: Boost Blue Pearl and Solar Reflection Metallic. Solar Reflection is only available on the LX and EX-L, but Boost Blue is only offered on the Sport trim. The 2026 HR-V’s internal changes are mostly technical, and they are the same as those made to the 2026 Honda CR-V. This has a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remotely. The screen is also two inches bigger than it was the previous year. The EX-L also has a new front footwell light, a redesigned climate control knob, and silver spokes on the steering wheel. Finally, privacy glass is now standard on all three trim levels. The 2026 Honda HR-V’s price hikes are also small, but they are bigger than last year’s. The starting price of the front-wheel-drive LX has increased from $26,795 to $27,595. The high-end EX-L now starts at $31,445, while the front-wheel-drive Sport begins at $29,395. All-wheel drive can be added to any of the three model levels for an extra $1500. Honda says that some cars for 2026 can already be bought.
