The 2026 Kia Sportage will receive a mid-cycle update based on the model currently sold in Korea. The Sportage features a redesigned front end that now resembles other Kia models, along with a new steering wheel and an updated dashboard. Kia also provides the Sportage with appealing tech upgrades, including a head-up display, remote parking assist, and Highway Driving Assist 2. It’s helpful to stand out in a crowded market like small SUVs by having a unique look. It’s impossible to deny that the 2017 Kia Sportage looks good, but controversial rarely means popular. No matter what you think of the Sportage’s outside, Kia will replace it with a more standard look. It will also look like the company’s newest models after the mid-cycle refresh, which is set to start with the 2026 model year. Like the new Kia Sportage, which is already on the market in Korea, the future model in the US will have a wider, taller grille with vertical daytime running lights on each side. The new front bumper has a squared-off air inlet. The tough X-Line trim has a unique grille mesh and a front plate with built-in fog lights. The inside of the Sportage has been changed. The vertical air vents have been replaced with a new panoramic display. It comes with the newest entertainment system from Kia. It can get updates over the air and works wirelessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A new steering wheel also has flat edges on both the top and bottom. The Korean model also has a lot of nice features, like a head-up display, Highway Driving Assist 2 with the ability to change lanes, remote parking help, and fingerprint authentication. Kia hasn’t officially announced the 2026 Sportage’s update for the US market yet, but we expect to hear more soon, maybe at the Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of the month. Prices for the 2025 Sportage and Sportage Hybrid have been raised to $28,565 and $29,965, respectively. Because of this, those prices are likely to go up a little.
