• In 2024, the CT4-V Blackwing and the CT5-V Blackwing will get some changes from Cadillac.
  • There are new colors and graphics that celebrate the 20th anniversary of the V-series cars.
  • These changes also affect the CT4-V and CT5-V models, which will have less power in 2024.

Cadillac’s V badge was first seen on the 2004 CTS-V, which had a 5.7-liter V-8 engine with 400 horsepower and was the first car in the V-series speed line. To mark this year, Cadillac is adding a few special touches to the 2024 CT4-V and CT5-V cars, like new paint choices and other improvements.

All 2024 CT4-V and CT5-V cars, including the top-of-the-line Blackwing models, will have a 20th Anniversary graphic on the grille and rocker panels and a unique startup animation in the digital gauge cluster. Velocity Red, Cyber Yellow Metallic, Coastal Blue Metallic, and Black Diamond Tricoat are newer colors. Cadillac also adds a “Blackwing” badge below the V logo to distinguish the 668-hp CT5-V Blackwing and the 472-hp CT4-V Blackwing from their less powerful brothers.

Since last year, prices have only gone up a little bit. The CT4-V starts at $48,490, and the 360-hp CT5-V begins at $52,890. The base price of the CT4-V Blackwing is $62,890, while the base price of the CT5-V Blackwing is $94,890. Cadillac’s Super Cruise technology is a new choice for the CT5-V Blackwing. It costs $6,785 because it needs a ten-speed automatic transmission and two driver-assist packages, which are also optional.
