Even though it’s an older SUV, the Nissan Armada is still a good buy. The V8-powered, body-on-frame truck is perfect for most off-road fans, and now Australia can get an even stricter version of it. Among other changes, the Armada Warrior now has all-terrain tires, a two-inch lift, and, most importantly, a beautiful side-exit exhaust. There have yet to be any official photos, but an Australian magazine called Chasing Cars was able to visit and has posted a short video on YouTube with all the details you need. The truck’s 5.6-liter V8 sends more than 400 horsepower to all four 34-inch all-terrain tires, which are different for each trim. Most of the fitting was done by Premcar. This Australian company also works on the Navara truck, a competitor to the Toyota Hilux sold outside Japan. In the United States, you can’t buy this midsize truck or the updated Armada called the Patrol in other countries. The most exciting thing about the new Armada is its side-exit exhaust, which looks like the pipes on cars like the Mercedes G-Wagen. The process gives the truck a unique look that many people in the United States would love. Nissan, a Japanese car company, still has some off-road options for the cars it sells in the United States. The giant Titan and the sporty Pro-4X trim levels are now available for the midsize Frontier truck. But teases like the Armada (Patrol) Warrior make us want to know more. We hope that Nissan will consider bringing something like this to the United States.
