The starting price of the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan is $30,920, which is $1,065 higher than the previous base model. In its third generation, VW’s compact SUV no longer includes third-row seats, yet it maintains its compact size. Volkswagen also added 17 horsepower to the engine, bringing the total power to 201. Volkswagen released the third-generation Tiguan in October of last year. It is a small SUV that has a new look and more power. The third-row seats are no longer available, which is a shame. Volkswagen has finally shared how all of these changes will affect its finances. This year, the base S type of the Tiguan costs $30,920, which is $1065 more than the year before. The price goes up to $32,420 if you choose all-wheel drive instead of front-wheel drive. It comes with VW’s new 10.3-inch digital gauge panel and 12.9-inch central touchscreen, which can also be found in the ID. Buzz electric van. It costs $34,420 ($35,400 with AWD) to move up to the FWD SE level. There are also 19-inch wheels, an electric tailgate, and a remote start on the SE. Volkswagen says there is an option for a $1200 panoramic sunroof, but it won’t be available at launch. When you pick SE R-Line Black, the base price goes up to $36,870 (FWD) and $38,420 (AWD). The more expensive car has a bigger (20-inch) wheel, R-Line trim, black roof rails and mirror caps, and a better steering wheel. The SE R-Line Black also comes with a panoramic sunroof, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, lighted door handles on the outside, and a head-up display. At $41,200, the top-of-the-line Tiguan, the SEL R-Line, comes with all-wheel drive as standard. It looks better on the outside than the lower trims because it has a lit-up front grille and lit VW logos on the front and back bumpers. Inside the SEL R-Line, there are better fabrics and a 15.0-inch touchscreen. Volkswagen has improved output, but the SUV’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine has not changed. The engine now makes 201 horsepower, 17 more than it did before. The new 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan has more horsepower, but we won’t know if it will affect its runs until we test it.
