In a stealthy move, Maruti Suzuki has introduced an updated version of the Brezza model that significantly alters the vehicle’s feature set and technological architecture, among other things. According to a new brochure available for download from the company’s website, the revised Brezza now features seat belt reminders for all five occupants. This safety function was previously only accessible from the front seats. Improvements have been made so that the rear seat belt warnings sound even if no passengers are in those seats. The Brezza series’ unique safety feature has been warmly received since its introduction. However, the business has discontinued some previously offered services to implement these modifications. Specifically, the mild-hybrid technology that was once available in the manual variants of the subcompact SUV has been removed. Only automatic transmissions will have the fuel-saving option as we advance. The ARAI-permitted increase in mileage from 20.15 km/l to 17.38 km/l for the manual type results from these alterations. However, the automatic model’s fuel economy remains at 19.80 km/l. Maruti Suzuki has made other adjustments to the Brezza lineup beyond those already mentioned. CNG vehicles cannot access the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) or hill hold assistance. The technical components of the subcompact SUV have yet to be modified despite the functional upgrades. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is still driven by the same 102 hp and 136.8 Nm of peak torque, providing a 1.5-liter K15C naturally aspirated gasoline engine. This powerplant is compatible with a 6-speed torque converter or a 5-speed manual transmission. Only a manual transmission motor producing 87 horsepower and 121.5 Nm of peak torque is available in the CNG variant. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza ranges in price from $8.29 lakh for the base model to $13.98 lakh for the top-of-the-line model. Prices are listed ex-showroom in Delhi. It goes against vehicles like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300.
