It has been revealed that the Cadillac Escalade IQ is the most luxurious SUV that the brand makes. The Lyric SUV and the Celestial car are Cadillac’s other “IQ” electric cars. GM’s Ultrium battery technology will be used in the Escalade IQ, but official information has yet to be shared. The name of Cadillac’s most expensive SUV, which will run on electricity, has been unveiled. The Escalade IQ, the largest SUV from the luxury brand, will be offered for the first time as an electric vehicle. Cadillac released a teaser image of the emblem on the electric car and confirmed the name, which had been guessed since GM trademarked the names Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL in 2021. We’re still waiting for more information, like its public launch date. The picture at the top of this story shows how the Escalade ESV might look. In 2023, Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey is expected to show off three new electric cars, including the Escalade IQ. A Cadillac representative told Car & Driver that all three new EVs would come out in the same model year. This makes it more likely that it will be a 2024 model. Even though there aren’t many details, GM’s Ultimo battery technology will be used in the 2024 Cadillac Escalade IQ. If the Caddy is anything like the GMC Hummer EV SUV, it will have three electric motors with at least 830 horsepower and a battery that can hold about 177 kWh. It will, of course, weigh a lot more than four tons.
