Fears that the current generation of Durangos would end in 2025 were put to rest when Dodge showed information about the 2026 range. Dodge also said that the V-8-powered R/T and SRT Hellcat Durangos would be back, which would add at least a year to the current generation. The starting prices for the GT and R/T models are the same as they were in 2025: $40,490 and $51,990, respectively. The price of the SRT Hellcat won’t be known until later this year. Dodge has done it once more. The 710-hp Durango SRT Hellcat was only intended to be sold for one model year when it debuted in 2021. After taking a year off, Dodge executives may have realized that their financial resources were quickly dwindling, so they chose to reintroduce the Durango Hellcat in 2023. Production, however, will come to an end in 2024, marking its final year. Because money is such a strong pull, there are also several final versions for 2025. What you might not have guessed is that the Durango will come back for one last time in 2026. This time, Dodge hasn’t shared much about the final Durango SRT Hellcats. This could mean that they plan to keep making the car for longer than a year. The company intends to release additional information about the seven-seater Hellcat during the third quarter of this year. Dodge added the V-6 GT and V-8 R/T trim options to the 2026 Durango, along with the powerful model. The GT’s base price of $40,490 will not change in 2026. The R/T model brings back the $5,990 Tow ‘N Go package as an option and adds two new wheel choices. You can also opt for the new Blacktop Redline option for $ 3,495. It comes with 20-by-8-inch black noise wheels, blacked-out SRT skirts for the front and back, and unique badges. The R/T trim starts at $51,990, the same as last year. Most likely, the cars will hit stores in the third quarter of this year. You’ll be able to place an order for the 2018 GT and R/T in June.
