• Lamborghini showed off the Huracán STJ, which is the last limited version of the supercar after ten years of production.
  • The Huracán STO now has better tires, new dampers, and more powerful aero parts, which cut the lap time at Lamborghini’s test track by more than a second.
  • The STJ will only be made in 10 units, and it will come in two different designs and paint schemes.

The newest limited-edition Lamborghini is beautiful to look at. The Italian company just released the Huracán STJ, which is the last limited version of the ten-year-old supercar. Under the skin, the most significant changes are most noticeable. The STJ isn’t as obvious from the outside as you might think for a last-chance Lamborghini.

The epic last swan song of supercars is the 631-HP Lamborghini Huracán STJ

Hey there, Huracán

It’s much more important to the STJ to set fast lap times than it was to its very track-focused ancestor, the STO. Lamborghini says that a new set of four-way changeable dampers, which replace the active system that came with the base car, has improved the mechanical grip. The company that made the new dampers says that because they are easier to change, the spring stiffness can be lowered without affecting the steering feel or control.

Bridgestone and Lamborghini also worked together to make Potenza race tires for the 20-inch center-locking wheels. The STJ and STO both have a 5.2-liter, dry-sumped V-10 engine that makes 631 horsepower and only drives the rear wheels. The seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and this engine are tucked away under the cabin.

Along with the dampers and tires, Lamborghini made the racecar more aerodynamic. The front lip has been slightly changed, and new dive planes have been put in. To make the LM002 more aerodynamic, Lamborghini increased the curve of the rear wing by three degrees while keeping the balance.

The “ST” in the new car stands for Super Trofeo, just like it did on the STO. The “J” stands for Jota and FIA racing rules, as well as older Lamborghinis like the Aventador SVJ and Miura SVJ. Lamborghini says that the finished result cuts the STO’s lap time at the company’s test track by more than a second when all of the changes to the STJ are taken into account.

Lamborghini will only make ten of the special edition cars, and buyers will be able to pick from two different configurations and paint jobs. There were ten great years of the Huracán, and the STJ is the last car in that line. A plug-in hybrid will come in its place later this year.
