• BMW has shown off a special version of the 2025 BMW M5 made by BMW Individual. It will be auctioned off at Pebble Beach in August.
  • The M5 is a frozen orange metallic color, and the brake calipers and wheel details are gold.
  • The inside features the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance logo, orange leather seats, and carbon trim.

The seventh version of BMW’s M5 sports sedan came out last month. It has a cutting-edge plug-in hybrid motor that can make an amazing 717 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, along with a weight of 5390 pounds. BMW is now showing off a unique form of the 2025 M5. This will be the first car delivered in North America after it was sold at auction on August 16 at Pebble Beach.

The first BMW M5 in North America will be the Very, Very Orange 2025 model

The 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 is unique because of its Frozen Orange glossy color, which is meant to look like the sunset over Pebble Beach. This is possible thanks to BMW Individual, the brand’s customization program. This color will be taken out just as M5 production starts, so no more 2025 M5s will be painted in Frozen Orange. The front wheels are 20 inches, and the back wheels are 21 inches. The orange details on the wheels were painted by hand. Slowing down is done by M carbon-ceramic brakes with Matte Gold calipers.

Inside, there are M Multi-Function seats made of Silverstone Merino leather and Kyalami Orange. This is a unique color combination for this car that stays in style. The headrests have the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance logo, which was supposedly made using cutting-edge new technology, though BMW did not say what method was used. There is a “#1/1” emblem and the Pebble Beach Concours logo on the panel, as well as dark silver carbon-fiber trim. The front door sills have the same set of symbols.

BMW says that the unique M5 comes with extras worth $57,000. With the M5’s Driving Assistance Professional package, you can drive on roads and in traffic without using your hands. This car has ventilated front seats, a powered back sunshade, and an illuminated grille, all as part of the Executive package.

The Carbon kit includes a side view mirror, a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic roof, and a back spoiler. The M Drive Professional package adds two more drive modes for track trips. The M Driver’s package raises the top speed to 190 mph and includes a day of driving lessons at a BMW Performance Center.

The car will be sold on August 16 with no reserve price set by Gooding & Company. BMW said any extra money made from the sale would be given to the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, a group in Monterey County that supports reading and education projects. The person who wins the auction should receive the car in late October.
