The first picture shows the “floating” roof and other parts of the future Lexus TX. The Toyota Grand Highlander will likely be built on the same frame as the three-row TX SUV. Lexus has registered trademarks for the TX350 and TX500h names, indicating that the new car will come with gas and hybrid V-6 engines. Lexus showed off the first picture of the TX, a new three-row SUV that will be on sale soon. The image has been cut so that the car’s rear quarter panel can be seen from the side. This shows us more about the form of the “floating” roof and the body lines and wheel wells. Even though Lexus hasn’t said much about the upcoming TX, the new SUV will likely be built on the same TNGA-K platform as the newly released Toyota Grand Highlander. The TX will have three rows of seats, a more luxurious cabin, and the most up-to-date technology from Lexus. The TX is likely to be sold with or come standard with the same engine as the Grand Highlander, which has a 362 horsepower Hybrid Max powerplant. The name TX has come up before. Thanks to a Reddit post and Lexus patent applications, we had a good idea of what to expect in 2021.
