The starting price for the 2023 Genesis Electrified G80 sedan is $80,920. The G80 EV is currently for sale in 15 states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. The only thing that gives the electric G80 power is a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive unit with 365 horsepower. 3/16/2023 UPDATE: Genesis announced today that its three electric vehicles (EVs) can now be bought in three more U.S. states. In addition to the 12 states already available, the GV60 SUV, Electrified GV70 SUV and Electrified G80 sedan are now available in Louisiana, Texas, and Wisconsin. There are now 15 states where you can buy a Genesis EV. Update: On November 14, 2022, Genesis announced that the Electrified G80 would be sold in Virginia, Massachusetts, Maryland, and New Hampshire in 2023. The EV sedan is now available in 12 states as a result. Genesis now makes an electric version of the G80 sedan, but because they look the same, it may be hard to tell which one uses gas and which one uses electricity. The 2023 Genesis Electrified G80 stands out because it costs $80,920, about $10,000 more than the most expensive gas-powered G80. Like other new electric cars, the Electrified G80 is not sold in every state. It is available in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. Even though it will be sold there, the 2023 Electrified G80 will only be available at a few dealerships. Genesis tells customers to contact their local dealer to find out what’s available. The GV60 electric SUV fits this description. It will be sold in a few states, but there may be little choice. The Electrified G80 is the only car with a dual-motor powertrain with all-wheel drive and 365 horsepower. We just tried one out, and it went from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. We liked how fast and quiet, and far it could go. The EPA doesn’t know how far the electric G80 can go on a single charge, but Genesis says it can go 282 miles. At 75 mph, our test car drove 280 miles on the highway.
