Genesis now makes an electric version of the G80 sedan, but because they look the same, it may be hard to tell which one uses gas and which one uses electricity. Like other new electric cars, the Electrified G80 is not sold in every state. The Electrified G80 is the only car with a dual-motor powertrain with all-wheel drive and 365 horsepower. We just tried one out, and it went from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. We liked how fast and quiet, and far it could go. The EPA doesn’t know how far the electric G80 can go on a single charge, but Genesis says it can go 282 miles. At 75 mph, our test car drove 280 miles on the highway.
