The Karma Invictus is the newest model of a four-door sedan, draws its lineage back to the 2012 Fisker Karma. The Invictus is the efficiency version of the Karma Revero. It features an Öhlins coil-over suspension and a carbon-fiber hood, trunk lid, and roof. Only 30 units will be produced, and each will be equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that powers two electric motors on the rear axle. The company has not yet revealed a release date. Karma, a small business in Southern California that grew out of the ashes of Fisker Automotive, now has a new car. Almost. The Karma Invictus is the newest version of the Karma Revero sedan, and it puts speed first. We say “sort of” because the Invictus is related to the Fisker Karma from 2012, more specifically, the Karma GS-6 that came before the Revero. The Invictus looks a lot like the Revero, except that it has a carbon-fiber hood, roof, side panels, trunk lid, and spoiler. The front fenders are also made of carbon and have louvers on them to let air out of the wheel openings. Karma made the car go faster by combining Swift springs with Öhlins coil-overs that are inspired by racing. Karma says that the handling has also been improved, which makes it easier to control and direct when going around corners. It will have the same 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and two electric motors on the back end as all Invictus models. The machine produces 536 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Karma has yet to say how much the Invictus will cost or when it will be delivered, and the company only plans to make 30 of them.
