A new three-dimensional image for Infiniti has been released. The company says that the new design emphasises the “horizon line” and “infinite road” parts of the old mark. Since the company started in 1989, Infiniti’s image has changed four times. In terms of the past of car companies, Infiniti is new. Even though it’s only been around for 34 years, the Infiniti image has already been significantly changed. The design is now in its fourth generation as of this week. The company says that the latest version of the logo highlights how it looks like an endless road and a limitless horizon. Sam Xin, global divisional general manager for Infiniti, said, “By focusing on the point where the infinite road meets the horizon, we show that we will always look to the future and new horizons.” The old mark is finished in a sharp point, but the new logo has two flat lines in the background. The new three-dimensional logo will be on cars made in the future. Even though the company has yet to say which cars it will be on or when it will show up, it’s unlikely that the new Infiniti logo will be ready before next summer. The brand says that the new 3-D part of the sign shows energy, movement, and strength. The new character will be lit up on the hood of the new Infiniti cars. Infiniti changed the “road goes on forever” part of the sign and the space between the words. The person who made it says the change makes the sky stand out more. Other people who see the new logo won’t notice any changes because the changes are minor, like those made to other car brands. But we’re always here when a brand’s new image marks the beginning of a new era.
