Side-by-sides are becoming more popular as a type of car. Polaris is the leader in this field because it has many options that can be used in many ways. The Polaris Xpedition, the company’s newest product, is meant to make off-road riding more comfortable for longer trips. The form of the Xpedition is meant to start a new class of side-by-side cars. It looks more like a jacked-up Kei van than a simple outdoor car because of how high it rides. It focuses more on overlanding and long-distance journeys than on complex paths or works in small spaces. It has Fox shocks tuned to make the ride smooth, even on rough ground. There is also an option for a fully covered cab that keeps out all weather. NorthStar trims are the first to come with a built-in HVAC system. They add power windows and a flip-out windshield to the basic side-by-side, making it a much more grown-up car. The Xpedition also has a GPS guidance system and a JBL sound system. It has two or five seats, depending on how many people you want to hang out with simultaneously. The Xpedition has the most prominent conventional gasoline tank on the market. It has a range of 200 miles to go further into the wilderness. It has the same 1,000 ccs Poster engine as the Polaris RZR XP, which makes 114 horsepower and drives all four wheels. It has 14 inches of ground clearance and tough 30″ Crawler XP off-road tires to keep you going. It can pull up to 2,000 pounds, so whatever you want to take to the lake should be easy to move. Also, crossing water will keep it cool because its electrical systems are sealed, and air intake is high. You also get a 4,500-pound winch to help you escape dangerous situations. Every overlanding cliché you can think of can be done with the Xpedition. It will gladly bring your kayak and fishing gear to you, and of course, it has the right tent on top. Polaris has tried to make more room for cargo by adding flat floors and a large storage box in the back. Polaris says that more than a hundred “adventure-focused accessories” can be used with the platform. Polaris knows personalization is appealing, and the Xpedition is ready to take on new parts. The Polaris PULSE electrical system was made to make light bars, heating kits, and other accessories easy to add. Installing a plow system is also easy if you want to be the town’s hero when it snows in the winter. The basic Xpedition models will cost $28,999, but you won’t be able to buy them until 2024. The Ultimate and NorthStar trims, which will go on sale this summer for $31,999 and $38,999, respectively, are Polaris’s top production goals. If you’ve been thinking about getting a side-by-side vehicle but were worried about how comfortable it would be, Polaris has heard you. More and more, it’s hard to tell the difference between the most expensive four-wheel drives and side-by-sides.
