You may know the 2023 Chevy K5 Blazer that was made just for the SEMA show this year. That one with the 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires and the boosted 5.3-liter V8 engine based on a Silverado? This beautiful car was made by Flat Out Autos in Jonesboro, Arkansas. If you have the money and the time, they will even customize one to your needs. You could buy the first show truck ahead of everyone else for $199,000. Oh, Clark, it’s really beautiful, as they say. When it comes to current four-wheel drives, Flat Out has built a few GMC Jimmys, but this is their first Chevy Blazer. The single-cab, short-bed Silverado looked a lot like a ZR2 when it came off the assembly line, but it had more power and long-travel suspension than Multimatic DSSV shocks. The truck’s Glacier Blue Metallic paint job goes well with the very sleek Fiberwerx widebody. Sankuer Composite Technologies made the carbon fiber roof for the back half, and it can be taken off. Then, a roll cage gives it more strength and makes it look more old. That thing looks really great, man. I don’t know how much power it has, but it is a lot. A Whipple blower is built into this regular 5.3-liter Chevy small block, which makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. HP Tuners says it’s ready to hit the trails now that Flat Out says it works right. In short, I wouldn’t need much persuasion to go wheeling in a car with more than 500 horsepower. What a cute 4×4! It would look great anywhere, like by the ocean, in the mountains, in the desert, or the forest. Even though it has a lot of expensive features, this is not the “real” Blazer that Chevy sells today. Bowtie would sell a lot more of these trucks if it went in the opposite direction. Every time one shows up, people comment on pictures of it online and ask for an official factory version. This is one way that Flat Out is making tools that people have wanted for a long time. It’s not possible to compare prices because Flat Out hasn’t put the prices of its custom-ordered K5s online. It is, however, very important to anyone who has the money because it is for sale right now. We can still drive it even though we don’t have SnowRunner.
