Now that the order books for the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV are open, we have more information about the price, features, and trim choices for this new electric small SUV. After a while, the regular model will go on sale for $34,995, but right away, two unique 2RS launch models will be sold for $48,995. Chevy also raised the expected range of the most powerful model to 319 miles.

The price range for the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is $34,995 to $52,395

The Equinox 210-hp front-wheel drive 2RS and the 290-hp all-wheel drive 2RS will cost $48,995 and $52,395 at launch. The heated front seats, 21-inch alloy wheels, and 17.7-inch touchscreen will all come standard on these cars. Also, Chevy has shown off the 3LT and 3RS trim levels before, which suggests that even more expensive cars may be coming out soon.

Even though it won’t be out for a while, the base model 1LT starts at a much more appealing $34,995. That price is definitely for the front-wheel drive type; the price of the dual-motor all-wheel drive setup has yet to be discovered. There will only be one battery pack for each model, and the range estimates will depend on the trim level. The model with the best range is expected to go 319 miles.

Chevy says that retailers will start taking orders for the launch models in early November. It has yet to be determined when Equinox EVs will be sent to buyers. Chevy says that all of their models will start shipping in 2024, but the cheaper ones probably will come out in the 2025 model year.
