Indian car company MG Motor has raised the prices of its well-known Hector and Hector Plus SUVs for the third time this year. The prices of the best-selling models of the British car company that China now owns will increase by 40,000. This is only three months after the August change.

MG Motor showed off the 2023 Hector at the Auto Expo in January. It costs Rs 14.73 lakh (ex-showroom) to buy. At the same time, the Rs. 20.80 lakh (ex-showroom) Hector Plus SUV made its appearance. There are six different styles of the Hector SUV, which comes in both gasoline and diesel versions: Style, Shine, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.

Prices for the Hector SUV have gone down. The base model is now 15 lakh, and the most expensive Savvy Pro model costs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

The MG Hector Plus SUV can be set up with either six or seven seats. It now costs 22.73 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line six-seater model, while the base model costs 20.45 lakh. Even with the new change, the price of the seven-seat version has stayed the same.

The prices of both the gasoline and diesel versions of the Hector SUV have gone up lately. Gasoline cars will cost between $27,000 and $35,000 more, while diesel cars will cost between $30,000 and $40,000. The most growth is seen in the Smart Pro model with the gas engine.

The front of the 2023 MG Hector and Hector Plus got a new look. Level 2 ADAS technology and a new, largest-in-class 14-inch tablet infotainment system are two of the most important improvements. There are still the same 1.5-liter gasoline, 1.5-liter gasoline hybrid, and 2.0-liter diesel engines inside FMG Motor cars. There are both automatic and 6-speed manual transmissions to choose from.
