Japanese tuner DAMD gives the Suzuki Jimny two body kits that make it look like a whole. It was based on the Lancia Delta Integrale for the Little (Delta), and it was based on the Renault 5 Turbo for the Little 5. Since 2019, the tuning company has been putting out new body kits for the Jimny. The 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon will take place the following month. In honor of the beginning of the new year, Japanese tuner DAMD has put out two Suzuki Jimny body kits with rally themes. Since the new generation of the Jimny came out a few years ago, DAMD has come out with a new retro body kit for the small Jimny every January. The theme for the tune this year is “European Masterpiece.” DAMD worked with the Italian wheel company Oz Racing and two famous rally drivers from the 1980s to make the Jimny look even cuter. Both cars have fenders that are the same color as the body. The first body kit, called “Little 5,” is based on the well-known Renault 5 Turbo. DAMD is smart to label the Little Five as “Non-Turbo” on the side so that people don’t get confused. Just like the French car, the Little 5’s headlights are square. Jimny looks even more like the French standard because it has a pair of amber fog lights and a rectangular radiator grille. To finish off the look, a small spoiler is put on the roof above the back door. The second body kit, which has been named “Little” for obvious reasons, is based on the Delta Integrale from the first generation of Lancia Deltas. Even though the changes are the same, the Little Delta is getting a bigger makeover. The Little Delta has four round headlights instead of the real thing’s two rectangular yellow fog lamps. The radiator grille has a split in the middle, just like the real one. The Little Delta’s racing history is clear from the racing stripe that runs the length of the car and the huge rear wing that is attached to the back of the roof. The new kits also include the latest version of Oz Racing’s famous rally wheel. The wheels will be sold individually, and they will come in gray with white stickers or white with red stickers. Unfortunately, neither Jimny will receive any engine changes to go with the visual improvements, but they will both be on display at the Tokyo car show the following month.
