• Cadillac’s line of electric cars is growing quickly, and the 2026 Vistiq is the newest addition.
  • Cadillac says the Vistiq SUV with three rows of seats will be about the same size as the XT6 with a gas engine. It will be positioned between the Lyriq and the Escalade IQ.
  • The first pictures of the Vistiq show a “600E4” badge, which points to an all-wheel-drive system with at least 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.

Cadillac’s electric cars have unique names that end in “qi” instead of common letters and numbers. GM’s elite brand is quickly growing, even though only the Lyriq has been made so far. Aside from the Celestiq flagship, which was made by hand and is purposely limited in number, the company has also announced plans for two new electric SUVs: the Escalade IQ and the Optiq. That list now includes the Cadillac Vistiq 2026.

A Look at the Vistiq for the First Time

The Vistiq is a stylish three-row SUV that is easy on the eyes, even though it looks like a prescription drug for eye strain. Cadillac says it will be in the middle of the Escalade IQ and the Lyriq, which is a mid-size SUV. The exact sizes of the Vistiq are unknown at this time, but based on pictures and information we have access to, it looks like it will be about the same size as the three-row, gas-powered mid-size XT6 SUV.

From the two pictures that Cadillac sent, it looks like the Vistiq has a tall greenhouse with enough legroom for all three rows. Like the Escalade IQ and Lyriq, it has shiny exterior accents, pop-out door handles on its smooth body sides, a lit grille, and external lighting features. When you look more closely at the Vistiq’s wheels, you can see that the back of the car has a set of 22-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires in the size 295/40ZR-20.

Vistiq’s Possible Engine

The Visitq has the number “600E4” on the back of its bumper in these pictures. Official information about the powertrain has yet to be discovered, but this points to a dual-motor layout similar to the Lyriq 600E4. With all-wheel drive, that car has 450 pound-feet of torque on tap. The bigger Vistiq should have at least the same amount of power. The Vistiq and the Lyriq both use GM’s Ultium battery technology, which means they may both have a less powerful rear-wheel-drive system.

Cadillac says that later this year, more details about the 2026 Vistiq, such as its price and features, will be made public. Around that time, it will also start being made.
