Steve Jobs famously claimed customers don’t know what they want unless shown. Well, I know exactly what I want now that I’ve seen this twin-turbo V12-powered luxury quad. The car’s name is Engler V12, and I need life insurance, even though every purchase should mean a new contract.

In this way, Engler is not a beginner. A few years ago, it showed off its first Desat, which had a 5.2-liter V10 engine from an Audi R8. At the time, Engler called it the first megaquad in the world. Because the free-breathing, high-revving V10 didn’t seem impressive enough, Engler showed off a new model with an unknown V12 whose origins would be revealed in “the next 12 months.” With two turbochargers, the unnamed V12 should make 1,183 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque. This quad bike can go faster than a Bugatti Veyron. It has a straddle seat and arms that can be turned.

There are 1,183 horsepower and death wishes in the Twin-Turbo V12 Quad

Despite its power, the Engler V12 doesn’t compromise on safety. Its carbon fiber monocoque chassis is reinforced with front and back titanium subframes, and several titanium components are 3D-printed. The dry curb weight is a manageable 2,645 pounds, considering the vehicle’s 1,100+ horsepower. The height-adjustable windshield and seats, crafted from the same leather used in Hermès bags, add a touch of luxury. Rest assured, this V12 rocket is designed with your safety in mind.

The huge V12 engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch “micro-box” made by Engler. To stop, Brembo six-piston brakes are in the front, and four-piston units are in the back. Carbon ceramic discs are also used. The shocks are controlled automatically. The wheels are 20 inches long and have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The suspension is made of aluminum and titanium alloy and has two wishbones.

It also looks great; the handlebars make it look like a BAC Mono. There are two touchscreens in front of the user. One is for Apple CarPlay and other functions, and the other is for speed and other functions. However, sources say that Engler may change the plan to make riding safer.

I’ve never wanted to drive or ride something so scary before. Imagine that you are on a rocket with four wheels and a V12 engine. It’s both scary and appealing. No one knows the exact legal driving range of the Engler V12, but the company plans to use it on public roads. The $1.28 million Engler V12 is a toy that only the very rich can afford. Five people with a lot of money have already shown the guts to place an order. I would purchase one if I had the financial means to do so.
