New shots of the front, side, and back of the next sedan suggest that it might be the Kia K8. The K8 took the place of the Kia Cadenza when it stopped being sold in the US in 2020. We still like new cars, even though the K8 won’t be sold here. Kia has undergone many changes. The Korean company used to make simple cars that were priced fairly. They make a lot of beautiful and expensive cars right now, like the popular Telluride mid-size SUV and the Carnival minivan, which has very comfortable VIP back lounge seats. In the United States, though, only some high-end strategies Kia has tried have worked. The full-size Cadenza car was a mistake, and it will no longer be made in the United States after 2020. The K8 type is still around in South Korea, though. Today, a new set of teaser photos were shared to show how great the upgrade will likely look. Teaser pictures show most of the K8’s new design. I can’t see the lower hoods, but it looks a lot like Kia’s electric cars. Kia’s newest design language, “Opposites United,” has switched from electric to gas-powered cars this year. One example is the new K4, and another is the revamped Carnival. The new K8’s sleek vertical headlights look like they came straight from the electric EV9 SUV. A small trim piece that is linked by tiny lit hash marks. The taillights cover the whole width of the car and are made up of a thin horizontal piece that ends in two vertical LEDs. The side picture makes the roofline’s steep slope stand out. We are always infatuated with cars. However, we don’t believe the new Kia K8 will be available in US. For this reason, it’s always intriguing to watch what enters other markets, particularly when it’s the most recent iteration of a car that was previously marketed here.
