It’s not fair to call this a chassis-up restaurant. Not even the frame from the first Wagoneer is used for this. The Roadster Shop RS4 chassis holds up the famous Wagoneer body. Fox 2.0 Factory Series coilovers with remote reservoir shocks, Dana 44 front axles, Dana 60 rear axles, and a new ladder frame chassis with improved frame rails are some of the features that are included in this vehicle a new performance steering box. The old-fashioned body hides a real off-road car that has been made stronger. Mopar fans will be upset that there is a General Motors engine under the car instead of a Hemi. The RS4 chassis is made to work with different engine types, such as GM’s LS and LT engines. The owner of this Wagoneer picked a 6.0-liter L96 Vortec V8. Forget the basic three-speed transmission in the Woody Wagon; this has a dual-range transfer case and a six-speed automatic gearbox. But it looks like a brand-new Wagoneer from the outside. It is undoubtedly not completely stock because of the ride height and the 17-inch Method Racing wheels with BFGoodrich K02 tires. Most of the time, though, it looks like a classy car, and its off-road skills aren’t noticed. It won’t be cheap, though. As of this writing, there are three days left in the sale, and the highest bid is $80,000. The description says that the whole project cost more than $200,000 to build and fix up. But this truck might be hard to say no to if you want to travel in a retro, classic American icon that can also handle Moab off-road.
