The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is an adventure-ready electric vehicle that the company is adding to its growing lineup. The new mid-size EV SUV has a range of 260 miles, all-wheel drive with 375 horsepower, and a NACS charging port that lets you use Tesla Superchargers. Toyota has not yet disclosed the price of the bZ Woodland, but it’s anticipated that the single, well-equipped version will likely begin at approximately $50,000. “Wow, that new 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland closely resembles the Subaru Trailseeker,” we thought when we first saw it. It’s amazing what two working eyes can perceive. It’s also fantastic that Toyota and Subaru collaborate so effectively. The Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 sports cars, along with the Subaru Solterra and Toyota bZ electric vehicles, are perfect examples of this partnership. Although the bZ Woodland is built on the same frame as the Subaru, it is half a foot longer and features more powerful electric motors. bZ Receives a Woodland-Inspired Makeover The normal Toyota bZ doesn’t have all-wheel drive, but the Woodland version does. It has two electric motors that make 375 horsepower, the same amount as the Trailseeker. According to Toyota, the Yota’s battery is expected to provide a driving range of up to 260 miles on a full charge, with an estimated usable capacity of 67 kWh. The bZ Woodland is equipped with a NACS charging port, allowing it to access Tesla’s extensive network of DC fast chargers, commonly referred to as “Superchargers.” Toyota also notes that one of these fast chargers can recharge the Woodland’s battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. Of course, the 11-kWh internal charger can be used to set up Level 2 links at home. Both the Subaru Trailseeker and the Toyota bZ Woodland have many features, but the Toyota’s lighting is easier to spot because of its “hammerhead” front end. Besides that, the black overfenders, crossbars on the roof, and wavy body lines all meet. It’s not very good off-road, but the Woodland has an 8.3-inch ground clearance, and all-terrain tires are available. Even if they don’t have the knobbier rubber, all Woodland models have 18-inch wheels with aero covers that can be folded up. The mid-size EV SUV can also pull up to 3500 pounds. The bZ Woodland’s interior is similar to the inside of Toyota’s other electric cars. To put it another way, the dashboard is quite straightforward. It has a 14.0-inch touchscreen entertainment system and a digital cluster of gauges placed high up. The front seats have heating options, and the driver’s seat can be adjusted electronically. The leather comes in either brown or black. The central console features a rotary gear shifter along with two wireless charging pads. Toyota offers a Premium choice that makes things a little more exciting. The front seats in this package are heated, there is a panoramic sunroof, and the JBL radio has nine speakers instead of six. The Woodland offers 30 cubic feet of cargo space—around two cubic feet more than the standard bZ. This storage area is available at no extra cost. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase the 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland at the beginning of next year. We won’t know the real price until the official price is made public. The bZ Woodland will come in a single, fully loaded trim called the Trailseeker, with a starting price just above $45,000.
