Harley Earl, Clare MacKichan, Carl Renner, Charles Stebbins, and others had to use magic markers or exceptional minds to develop Chevrolet’s 1955, 1956, and 1957 cars. Only some automotive designs have endured this long. Tri-Five Chevys have been restored, custom, resto-modified, Pro Streeters, rat rods, exhibition cars, dragsters, circle track cars, street freaks, and even limos. Mailboxes, dining booths, yachts, and motorcyclists use their design. The 2023 Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, featured many 1955-1957 Chevys.
