• The USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) has received twelve new trademark applications from Subaru.
  • Twelve of the trademarks might be linked to cars so that they could be names for new models, trim levels, or concept cars.
  • Accomplice, Everguide, Everpass, Getaway, Highroad, Hightrail, Outsider, Tailwind, Trailhead, Trailseeker, Uncharted, and Viewfinder are some of Subaru’s new brands.

Subaru may be adding more adventurous cars to its lineuplineup soon. As AutoGuide said before, Subaru sent 12 new logo applications to the US Patent and Logo Office last week. The patents cover a wide range of goods, including “automobiles and structural parts and fittings therefor.” They are called International Class 12 trademarks. To put it simply, these are all trademarks for cars. They are not trademarks for software or other goods that a car company might sell.

Twelve possible next models or trims are among the ones that Subaru files as trademarks

Even if the rights are only used for cars, they still give Subaru a lot of options for the future. Some of the games that have been updated with new titles include Accomplice, Everguide, Everpass, Getaway, Highroad, Hightrail, Outsider, Tailwind, Trailhead, Trailseeker, Uncharted, and Viewfinder. Most of the new categories, like Hightrail, Trailseeker, and Highroad, sound like they are meant to add to or completely replace the current Wilderness versions.

Added to the Lineup

Subaru currently makes a Wilderness version of the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek. However, the company may soon want to add more SUVs to its range. Each Wilderness model has better ground clearance, bigger approach and departure angles, and tires with more knobs.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to use our minds until Subaru gives us solid proof. Imagine a concept car of a raised BRZ Hightrail taking center stage at SEMA. It would have 35-inch tires with spikes and steel under the body. Also, Subaru might be planning to add more models by adding a new base level that is designed for off-road use. Not long from now, a made-up new WRX Uncharted trim might show up in camps all over the Midwest.

It’s also possible that the car company is planning to make battery-powered or plug-in hybrid cars in the future. Subaru is known for making “granola-munchin'” cars, but they don’t have an off-road version of the electric Solterra yet. We’ll have to settle for the present Subaru Wilderness models for now.
