Next month, Volvo will show off a brand-new electric vehicle (EV) called the EX30. Today, the Swedish carmaker gave the first hint about the EX30. Even though the EX30 will be smaller than the EX90, we don’t know how it will compare to the XC40 Recharge. The crossover’s exterior looks creased, and the LED lights make it stand out. Volvo said today that it will soon have its fourth electric car ready. On June 7, buyers in the United States can reserve the EX30, a brand-new SUV that runs on batteries. After the XC40 Recharge, C40 Recharge, and EX90 comes the EX30. Volvo didn’t say anything about the car besides its name, but a short promo video hinted what to expect. The phrase “Something small is coming” refers to the arrival of an SUV that will sit below the EX90 and replace the three-row XC90 as an electric option. There is also a sculpted hood, Volvo’s signature vertical taillights, and what looks like a full-width light bar connecting the headlights.
