• It has been found that the Ford Bronco Sport prototype has a big touchscreen that looks a lot like the 13.2-inch Sync 4 system in the Ford Mustang.
  • Also, the Bronco Sport didn’t have the Falken WildPeak tires that came on the Badlands trim. Instead, it had Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires.
  • Even though our spy pictures don’t show any other changes that can be seen, the 2025 model year should have some changes to the way it looks.

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is likely to get an update in the middle of its model cycle. This update could add a bigger touchscreen and even a new off-road grade. Our spy photographer got some interesting pictures of prototypes walking around town while they were dressed up. These pictures hint at some big changes coming to the baby Bronco.

What about the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport? It could use the tablet from the Mustang

More space for the touchscreen

In 2023, Ford redesigned the Escape and added a 13.2-inch tablet infotainment system. The Ford Escape and the Bronco Sport share the same platform. The interior of the Bronco Sport looks like it will have the same screen that was on the 2024 Mustang, which has Ford’s Sync 4 software built in.

The new touchscreen is a lot bigger than the 8.0-inch Sync 3 tablet that comes with all Bronco Sport trim levels. It seems likely that the Escape’s base models will still come with the smaller screen.

The Bronco Sport’s extra-wide touchscreen takes up the room where the air vents that were angled up and down used to be. In other words, they will be pushed down on the middle layer, most likely across the layer. It needs to be clarified if the HVAC settings will be changed.

Brand new tires for the Wrangler

Now, the Bronco Sport Badlands is the vehicle that puts the most focus on going off-road. It now comes with Falken WildPeak all-terrain tires in size 235/65R-17 and gear made just for mud.

Different A/T tires were on the samples we were able to spy on. This could mean that Ford will release a new model or limited edition called Everglades or Wildtrak. When it comes to full-size Ford Broncos, these two models are ahead of the Badlands.

To be more exact, the brand-new Bronco was driven to WildPeak on Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires that were the same size on both cars. The name Wrangler has been taken off the sidewall, just like on its bigger brother, so as not to draw attention to the Bronco’s rival, the Jeep Wrangler.

Ford has not said anything in public about the changes they are making to the Bronco Sport. The changes for the 2025 model year will be made public in 2024. Watch out for it.
