The Porsche 911’s shape has changed the least over the years. Even though it has clearly gotten bigger, heavier, and more complicated with each of its eight versions, it still has the same general shape and profile as when it was first shown off in 1964. Even Still, each generation is unique because it has its own traits and design features. Which version of the Porsche 911 do you think looks the best?

Which decade of the Porsche 911 looks the best?

It might have been natural for them to call 911 first. Its simple, straightforward form still looks almost perfect today. One could also make the case for the 964, which might have the most recognizable Porsche exterior (the 911 Turbo’s whale-tail spoiler is famous). It’s hard to argue against either of these choices. The 997, on the other hand, is my best, which will make Porsche fans mad at me.

The 996 generation that caused problems The 997 model, which came out in 2004, replaced the Porsche 911. The 997 is a good size, has good proportions, and looks just current enough. It could be because that’s the 911 I drove as a teenager and the one I saw at car shows. It doesn’t feel as big or fancy as newer 911s, but it still looks good today. The rear axle is set far enough back to balance the shape of the car, so it looks like the engine is in the back.

The inside of the 997 is my favorite part. It has the right mix of new technology and old-fashioned analog contact. Modern cabins have ridiculously complex technology, but this one doesn’t. It has basic analog instruments, a touchscreen infotainment system, and the ability to pair phones.

Which do I like better: the 911 or the 964? They are definitely beautiful cars that are worth a lot more than the 997. The 911 997 would be my first choice if I had to pick one form. Everyone, what do you think? Tell me about the most attractive 911 and how I was wrong.
