The next Civic model year, the eleventh generation, will hit the market in 2022. The current Honda Civic is one of the company’s greatest because it balances value, speed, and usefulness. The 2025 Honda Civic is a small car or hatchback that has almost everything you could want. There are many choices for power and performance, as well as a lot of technology and driver assistance systems inside the car. There is ample room for passengers and their belongings within. Another big change to keep an eye on is the new hybrid Civic that will come out in 2025. In 2025, the Civic will get a new hybrid engine. It has 200 horsepower, the same as the Si, but 20% more low-end torque. The test vehicle was from 2022, but a lot of what we discovered applies to the entire Civic line. Pros vs Cons Pros It’s fun to drive when you have good control. There are electric powertrains that get good gas mileage. Large areas for goods and seating. Technology features that are easy to use. Cons Noise from cars on the highway is annoying. There’s no back support in the front seat. It costs more than its top rivals. Performance How does the Civic get its power? It’s too early for us to test the new Civic with the hybrid engine. We did try this engine in the CR-V SUV, though, and found that it’s pretty strong for commuting. Honda should feel bad about getting rid of the turbocharged engine that was previously offered because the regular Civic isn’t very good at speeding up. The Civic’s robust and athletic design makes navigating turns an enjoyable and enjoyable experience. Furthermore, this Civic is fun to drive, which is what we would expect from a cheap car. Comfort How much comfort does the Civic offer? The Civic’s suspension system does a good job of smoothing out bumps in the road. The car’s strong driving makes up for the fact that it doesn’t ride as well as some other small cars. On hot days, the leather seats let air flow nicely and provide support in the front. There is no way to change the lumbar support on the seats, though, which could be a problem for people with sensitive lower backs. Another problem is that you can hear road noise, especially on freeways, and it can be very annoying when the road is bumpy. Interior How is the state of the inside? The design of the interior looks good. You can find and use each control with ease. It offers ample room as well. Most adults will have plenty of legroom in the rear, and passengers of varying heights will have no trouble squeezing into the front seats. There is plenty of legroom and headroom in the back seats. Gazing outside the Civic is also entertaining. Technology What’s wrong with the tech? Civic drivers can keep their eyes on the road thanks to the tablet entertainment system that’s situated high on the dashboard. The device is functional, despite the fact that the visuals on the basic touchscreen are outdated. You may connect your phone to the car via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with the optional 9-inch screen, which has a better picture and wifi connection. Additionally, you have the option to engage with services and use Google Voice Assistant. Even though this screen is better, Honda only puts it on the most expensive Civic models. Storage What’s going on with storage? The Civic sedan has a larger trunk than its competitors, with a maximum capacity of 14.8 cubic feet. The Civic’s trunk and wheel wells aren’t always an issue, so there’s plenty of room. Bigger rear-facing infant carriers may slightly reduce the space for front passengers, but this is still the case for most cars in this class. Fuel Economy How much fuel does it use? The EPA says that a normal Civic can get up to 36 mpg on the highway and in the city together. The total gas mileage should be 49 mpg if you choose the hybrid drivetrain. The Elantra and Corolla, which are rivals of the Civic, get about the same gas mileage ratings. However, these numbers are still very good. Value Is the Civic worth buying? A less expensive substitute for the Honda Civic would be the Toyota Corolla or Hyundai Elantra. Despite the greater price, the Civic is a great buy due to its quicker acceleration, better gas mileage, fewer available options, and more luxurious interior. When you compare Honda’s warranty to those of other companies, it’s pretty normal. The company does, however, make good products that normally keep their value. Wildcard This little Honda has a lot of speed, which is a surprise. This is particularly evident when considering its speed, which elicits laughter from more enthusiastic drivers.
