Our Opinion - 2026 Infiniti QX60 Review The 2026 Infiniti QX60 offers stylish design, a generous list of features, and a competitive starting price, but it falls short compared to the top luxury SUVs in its segment. It shares its base with the Nissan Pathfinder, and you can see too much of Nissan’s history. The supercharged four-cylinder engine in the QX60 makes 268 horsepower, which is just enough to get it moving. All levels come with a good amount of features, but the higher-end models are the most luxurious. The top-of-the-line Autograph comes with a 20-speaker Klipsch radio, open-pore wood trim, massaging front seats, and semi-aniline leather seating. The QX60 goes up against the Acura MDX and the Buick Enclave, but European cars like the Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 are more modern. What's New? The QX60 receives a subtle design update this year, bringing its appearance closer to that of its larger sibling, the QX80. The grille has been redesigned to frame the Infiniti emblem, and the front lower lip has been modified to give the SUV a more substantial and lower stance than previous versions. Also, the parts of the exterior lights have been changed. The Sensory grade has been replaced by a new Sport grade that has different styling, 20-inch gloss-black wheels, and special S badges. The other models all come with 20-inch wheels, which is more common than the QX60 from the previous year. Better approach lighting is on the top-level Autograph trim. When the key is inserted, it turns on the grille logo and daytime running lights. On both sides of the SUV, projectors light up and show the word “Infiniti” on the ground. Pros and Cons Pros It has good benefits for the price. Peaceful inside. Good advances in technology. Cons Longer distance to drive. Only a fairly fast speed increase. The third row might be bigger. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The QX60 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 268 horsepower, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is normal on the QX60, but all-wheel drive can be added. The four-cylinder engine felt a little shaky during our test drive, but most people won’t notice. The nine-speed automatic goes to the top gear when you need more power to pass or join, and it’s hard to shift down. The ride is harder than we thought it would be for such a comfortable cruiser. Safety Along with the standard driver-assistance features, the QX60 comes with a number of high-tech systems that can be added as options. For example, the adaptive cruise control system uses information from the car’s navigation system to slow down as it approaches a curve in the road. The following are important safety features: Equipped with automatic emergency braking and forward collision alert. Includes standard lane departure warning and lane-keeping assistance. You can get adaptive speed control and lane-centering. Internal and External Cargo Capacity There is room for up to seven people in the QX60’s three-row cabin, but the Sport and Autograph models have captain’s chairs in the second row, which cuts the number of seats down to six. The luxury interior looks real, with high-end materials used all over and a lot of soundproofing to block out the outside world. Infiniti does offer extras like heated back seats, ventilated front seats, and a massage feature. The front seats themselves are heated and can be adjusted in eight different ways. Higher trim levels come with a three-zone system that includes an air purifier and basic climate control for two zones. Fuel Economy and Actual MPG The EPA has not released the 2026 QX60’s fuel economy rating yet. The 2025 model delivered fuel economy figures of 22 miles per gallon in urban conditions, 28 miles per gallon on highways, and a combined average of 24 miles per gallon. When we get the chance, we’ll test the QX60 on our highway fuel economy route at 75 mph and post the results on this page. Infotainment and Connectivity The QX60 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch tablet-style infotainment system, featuring both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. You can choose to have a 10.8-inch head-up display instead of the usual 12.3-inch digital gauge display. In addition, all QX60s have Wi-Fi built in. Clients can choose from a standard nine-speaker radio or a Klipsch-tuned sixteen- or twenty-speaker system. Range, Charging, and Battery Life In our testing, the 2025 QX60’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. In comparison, the Volvo XC90 B6 completed the same sprint 0.7 seconds quicker. Towing and Payload Capacity The most weight that the QX60 can pull is 6,000 pounds. That’s not as much as the Mercedes-Benz GLE350 and BMW X5, but it’s the same as the Genesis GV80’s top tow rating. Price and How to Choose The 2026 Infiniti QX60 will likely cost between $52,000 and $68,000, depending on the type and any extras that come with it. You should get the Luxe trim. This vehicle is equipped with a 16-speaker Klipsch audio system, ventilated and heated front seats, heated seats in the second row, adaptive cruise control, a power-adjustable steering wheel, remote start functionality, and a surround-view video system. Front-wheel drive is the most common setup and should be enough for most buyers. All-wheel drive is also an option.
