The inside may also be modified. A new Duramax diesel engine may be made available. In 2021, Yukon will release the fifth version of its popular SUV. GM’s full-size SUV, the 2024 GMC Yukon, is constructed like the Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Tahoe. They all include a powerful V8 engine, three rows of seating, and ample towing capacity. It carved good looks, polished brightwork, and a more elegant interior set the Yukon apart from its bow-tied siblings. In contrast to the Escalade, the GMC is less plush and well-equipped. In 2021, GMC completely redesigned the Yukon, and we anticipate further updates for the 2024 model year. You can expect modernized technologies, updated aesthetics for the front and back, and new wheels. We also anticipate that GMC will maintain sales of the turbocharged diesel engine option for the Yukon. GMC claims this upgraded, more powerful version will be available in the Sierra 1500 truck beginning in 2024, so if this holds, it may be the same engine. Any upgrades to the 2024 GMC Yukon to compete with the Jeep Wagoneer will be welcome. Jeep, like GMC, is a premium vehicle that competes in the large SUV segment. Alternatives to the Yukon include the Ford Expedition, the Nissan Armada, and more reasonably priced luxury SUVs like the Lexus LX and Mercedes-Benz GLS. Pros vs Cons Pros The ride is smooth, and there is peace inside. Superior temperature regulation A potent 6.2-liter V8 engine is available as an option. A lot of room for stuff Cons Difficult to navigate city streets and parking garages The driver’s seat is fixed and cannot be adjusted. Laborious procedure Just like the cheaper Chevrolet Tahoe. What is Invoice Pricing's Recommendation? As of this writing, GMC has made no announcements on the 2024 Yukon. Based on our experience with the Yukon over the past year, we suggest at least the SLT trim level. Upgrades include higher-quality alloy wheels, leather upholstery, a power liftgate that can be opened without using your hands, and many high-end entertainment and safety amenities. New Yukons from GMC The GMC Yukon is a large SUV that can comfortably accommodate up to nine people. There’s room for up to eight in here. Pick several trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. Two gas V8 engines, a diesel six-cylinder engine with turbocharging, and a 10-speed automated transmission are all on tap for the 2024 Yukon. All-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive are also an option for each machine. 2024 GMC Yukon Video Review
