When tested in anterior and side crashes, the 2022 Aviator received a perfect score of 5 stars from the Federal Highway Administration (NHTSA). A two-fifths star rating for rollover testing is typical for this type of vehicle. The NHTSA gave the Aviator a perfect score of five stars.

Of course, this high-end SUV comes equipped with a variety of driver assistance features as standard. In the event of a potential collision, lane-keeping assist and forward-collision mitigation will alert drivers. In the event of a collision, the brakes can be applied by this feature.
