2022 Lincoln Aviator Overview

The Aviator is a midsize SUV from Lincoln. In keeping with the rest of the Lincoln family, this vehicle is both luxurious and practical. If you’re looking for a vehicle with the latest technology, look no further. Learn all about the 2022 Lincoln Aviator, and afterward, take one for a test drive!

For the 2022 Aviator’s infotainment system, there’s no slacking off. It comes with a 10.3-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, which are the most important smartphone integration features. The basic transportation and Wi-Fi access point feature help to solidify its status as a luxury vehicle.

The higher the trim level or additional packages available to Aviator buyers will increase the vehicle’s level of luxury. For example, an improved audio system is included as standard equipment in the Reserve trim. A wireless device charger, neck display, and the capacity to use a suitable cellphone as a key are all included in a variety of add-on packages. Quite a few of these characteristics are included as standard equipment on the higher trim levels.

All of the 2022 Aviator’s trim levels will come with a turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine. It has 400 power and torque and a 415-pound weight of torque, which is more than enough for this mid-size car to get up to speed. This engine is well served by a 10-speed automatic transmission. Normal and Book designs come as standard with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available as an option for both vehicles. All-wheel drive is standard on the Dark Label and above.

Hybrid V6s are available for the Great Trekking and Collectors Edition Grand Touring. With 494 hp, they’re also capable of producing 630 lb-ft of engine power. For these models, an automatic transmission is again employed.

Lincoln’s reputation for comfort precedes it. The heated and power-adjustable front seats are included as standard equipment. Standard features include automatic climate control with three zones and a push to start button. The leather interior and four-zone climate control found in the Reserve model are only available to those who choose to climb the trim ladder.

For the 2022 Aviator, there is a luxury package available on select models. Back wheel sunshades and a big improvement to a sound system are included in this package. In the end, the 30-way energy front seats make it worth considering.

The 2020 – 21 Franklin Aviator is a great fit for many families because of its size and features. Is it the right choice if you start taking one of these for a test drive?

The Aviator’s generous cargo capacity is just one of the vehicle’s many appealing features. Behind the third row, there are more than 18 cubic feet of space for a typical grocery shopping trip. Drivers have approximately 48 cubic feet of space behind the second row, with a maximum cargo volume of 77.7 cubic feet.

The standard bench seat in the second row of the Aviator can accommodate up to seven passengers. It has captain’s chairs in the second row, as with most luxury SUVs, which reduces the seating to six. Passengers can enjoy plenty of legroom and headroom in the Aviator.

Although luxury SUVs are known for their efficiency, this is not always the case. The Aviator, on the other hand, does a great job for its power and size. 18mpg city and 26mpg highway are expected for designs with standard powertrain and front-wheel-drive configurations. All-wheel-drive models equipped with this engine achieve combined fuel economy ratings of 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

A hybrid powertrain is a good option for consumers who care about fuel efficiency. It’s estimated to get a combined 56 MPGe. The all-electric driving range of models powered by this system is 21 miles.

When tested in anterior and side crashes, the 2022 Aviator received a perfect score of 5 stars from the Federal Highway Administration (NHTSA). A two-fifths star rating for rollover testing is typical for this type of vehicle. The NHTSA gave the Aviator a perfect score of five stars.

Of course, this high-end SUV comes equipped with a variety of driver assistance features as standard. In the event of a potential collision, lane-keeping assist and forward-collision mitigation will alert drivers. In the event of a collision, the brakes can be applied by this feature. All models come standard with blind-spot monitoring as well.

With the Reserve, Franklin Co-Pilot 360 Plus is an option, while the three trims above it come standard. An adaptive cruise  and deflective steering assist are included in this bundle. Automated parking features allow the Aviator to be parked with little or no driver involvement.
