The current GLC-Class design was first introduced in 2016. To stay on top of the competition, 2022 includes a slew of new features.

Upgraded versions of the engine load and the base engine’s upgrade engine are now both more powerful than they were before. Mercedes Benz MBUX suite is added to the car’s infotainment screen, which is expanded from 8 cm to 10.25 inches. Prior to this, only minor tweaks were made to the vehicle; this year’s upgrades are the most significant to date.

Older models may be significantly less expensive if larger engines and screens aren’t a priority. As a result, the GLC-Class is now in line with other 2022-year expensive cars that have adopted a screen size of 10.25 inches as their standard.

The GLC-Class comes in five trim levels and two body types: the standard model and the coupe model. However, only two of the trims are accessible in the coupe body style. Adults may not be able to comfortably ride in the back of the coupe, which has a relatively small backseat.

The 300 is the most basic trim level. It has a 255-horsepower engine, even after the 2019 model’s upgrade. The front seats are heated and power-adjustable, and there is a slew of driver assistance software included in this trim. Additionally, the automatic transmission is included in the trim. If you really want all-wheel drive, you should opt for the coupe over the sedan. The infotainment system includes features for connecting a smartphone and Bluetooth-enabled devices.

The 350e is a hybrid model for those who care about the environment. Fuel usage and emissions are significantly reduced by alternating between a plug-in battery and a gas engine. The blended setup can produce 315 horsepower, making this model more powerful. Otherwise, it’s essentially the same as standard 300.

The AMG 43 is the next step up. A 385-horsepower engine is standard on the 43 performance trim level. All-wheel drive is also included in this model’s package. With the AMG designation, Mercedes-Benz vehicles are more powerful and cost more to buy, just like other Mercedes-Benz models. As far as 2022 upgrades go, this is the second one. It is available in both coupe and sedan configurations.

The AMG 63 is a step up from the AMG 43. At this moment the motor is rated at 469 horsepower, which is a significant increase in power. Once again, it’s accessible in coupe or sedan form, and there are no distinctions in basic or optional features except for the engine.

The 63 S version of the 2022 Luxury car GLC-Class is the most expensive model available. This is only accessible as a convertible and has the most powerful engine in the lineup, which produces 503 horsepower.

Having an SUV with a well-appointed interior like the GLC-Class makes it all the more appealing. It removes any lingering resemblance to a “mom van” from a sleek vehicle that can fit in anywhere. The controls are responsive and precise. In general, the higher trims have much more authority than the SUV really needs for acceleration and passing capabilities. For an SUV, there simply aren’t many places where it can get as much acceleration as an F-150. The lowest-priced option provides all the authority you need.

For highway driving, the GLC-Class gets 29 MPG and for city driving, it gets 22 MPG. There is a decrease in MPG in vehicles with larger engines or all-wheel drive, especially in AMG performance trims.
