The 2025 Hyundai Elantra N introduces a new TCR edition, inspired by the race car that participates in the TCR World Tour championships. The special-edition performance sedan features lightweight wheels, enhanced brakes, and a large rear wing, all of which are not present on the standard model. The TCR Edition will initially be released in Korea in December, followed by its introduction to Hyundai’s global markets next year. The Hyundai Elantra N is a gentle car. No matter how you feel, you have to admit that the style is beautiful. The sound comes next. When the car is in Sport+ or N mode, even a small push on the gas pedal sets off a chorus of pops and bangs that can be heard all around the neighborhood. Hyundai still thinks that some buyers want more, though. The new TCR Edition makes the Elantra N even more beautiful for people who want one. Hyundai says that the limited edition performance sedan was “inspired by the many race and championship wins it has had in TCR.” TCR stands for “Touring Car Racing,” which is what the Hyundai race car in the TCR World Tour is called. Because of this, the TCR Edition has light 19-inch forging wheels and four-piston N Performance brakes. The rear of the car features a lightweight carbon-fiber swan-neck wing that appears to have been directly transferred from the race car to the road car. Hyundai says that the wing is flexible and can be changed depending on the driving conditions. The blue cross mark at noon on the Alcantara steering wheel shows that extra care was taken with the TCR Edition’s interior as well. The straps’ color matches the car’s, and they have TCR logos on them to make them stand out. The limited-edition Avante N TCR Edition will be shown for the first time in South Korea in December. It will then be sold in Hyundai’s other foreign markets the following year. We don’t know how much the special version will cost, but it will be a lot more than the standard model, which starts at $35,100.
