The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 is a special edition that honors the legacy of the Willys MB, the off-roader’s ancestor. Along with stenciling stickers that look like those on old army vehicles, the Willys ’41 has a unique olive green paint job that was inspired by the color of the US Army. The special edition is equipped with the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain and has a starting price of $61,825. The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most famous names in the American auto business. In 1986, the business debuted it on their off-road SUV. The Willys MB, on the other hand, was the engine of the US Army during WWII and is where the Wrangler got its start. In honor of the Wrangler’s famous ancestor, the Willys ’41, Jeep has launched a new limited edition called the 2025 Wrangler 4xe. The limited edition model was based on the Jeep ’41 idea, which was shown for the first time at the Moab, Utah, Easter Jeep Safari in 2022. The Wrangler’s military roots are shown by the 17-inch metal wheels that look tough and match the paint job that looks like it was painted in 1941. The middle cap has a silhouette of an old Willys MB on it, and 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires are on the wheels. The bodywork has many references to the original Jeep, which is meant to look like the factory stenciling that was on US Army cars during the war. Under the left rearview mirror is a blue sticker that says “4XE.” On the hood is a black sticker that says “’41,” and on the side of the hood is a light blue sticker that says “WILLYS / 4XE.” An emblem from 1941 is on the gearshift, and there is an olive-drab fabric strip on the dashboard. Inside, the theme continues with the unique tan cloth seats. For the Willys ’41 version, there will be a tan Sky One-Touch motorized soft top and a body-color hardtop roof. Steel shields on the front and back come standard, as does a rear differential lock. The only choice for the Willys ’41 is Jeep’s 4xe plug-in hybrid drivetrain, which has a 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine and two electric motors. The setup makes 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to drive the Wrangler 21 miles on electricity alone. People can already place orders for the Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41. The US Army tribute should be at stores by the end of 2024. The price starts at $61,825.
